Last night in Atlanta, Ciara co-hosted the Ludacris Foundation, an event that was done in honour to raise money for youth and HIV/AIDS research. The event was also attended by singer Fergie and producers Polow Da Don, Bryan Michael Cox (not pictured) and Dallas Austin:
Nice one, to both Ciara and Luda. When you become famous, it's good to see celebs using their star power to make a difference instead of spewing crap and starting beefs. Fiddy should take an example from his rival and alleged former lover.
These group certainly are a tightknit bunch as they were all spotted at the 11th Annual BMI Atlanta Unsigned Urban Showcase in Atlanta, GA on that very same day:

Jermaine has spoken about the secret wedding of Beyonce and Jay-Z claiming that the day after the wedding, he and Jay-Z went straight back into the studio to do some work on Usher's forthcoming album Here I Stand. Who goes back to work the next day after getting hitched? I see why Bey and Jay are attracted to each other - those are some hardworking motherfuckers. Then again, this is the reason why they're so damn powerful and successful. Can't hate on that at all. And I take it, we won't EVER get to see those wedding pics because they REFUSE to talk about it. Not even with their closest pals. Shame.
Chris Brown was spotted waiting patiently for his cab to pick him up in Beverly Hills yesterday:
Even when dressed down, he was looking really scrummy. My guess is that he was on his way to Rihanna's LA mansion where they started making sweet music together. I see another duet in the foreseeable future.

Leona Lewis was spotted departing JFK airport yesterday. She's been working her butt off all week and it's looks like it's about to pay off. According to first-day predictions, Leona's latest album Spirit, which was released in the US on Tuesday is set to debut at #1 on next week's HITS Album Sales chart, edging near 200k.
So not only has Bleeding Love got to no 1 on Billboard but she'll have a double victory with Spirit as well. I am really pleased for her. Those are fantastic sales for a newcomer artist. I'm sure Simon Cowell and Clive Davis will be sipping champagne once everything has been made official. Good for her. She deserves all of her success on both sides of the Atlantic. I guess she'll be getting a top of the range merc now, at Mr Cowell's expense.

Rihanna and Chris Brown were spotted YET AGAIN in New York yesterday, and did everything possible not to be seen together as usual. The pair were spotted near their Manhattan hotel. Here they are on separate occasions:
Rihanna looked absolutely wonderful. That is one bad heffa, waxy ears and all. Bitch is untouchable, OK?!?!? Anyway, they can front all they like. Jordin Sparks has just went and told their business even though they don't want to confirm their relationship. She talked about when her and Chris shot the video for her latest single No Air, and Rihanna came on the set to support her man. Check it out in her own words:

Last night, Rihanna performed a concert held at the Highline Ballroom. The concert helped fund the BELIEVE Foundation, which Rihanna created in 2006 to "ensure the health and well-being of our future leaders." BELIEVE is also "committed to creating change in the lives of our youth by providing, educational, financial, social and medical support when and wherever it is needed." Reportedly, he has agreed to meet his ex-flame Britney Spears at a family barbecue, on the insistence of her father Jamie Spears. He was called in aid of Britney’s recovery from mental illness issues. And he agreed to talk to the Toxic singer face to face. The couple dated for nearly four years and split in 2002. From then, things got nasty - Justin publicly telling a radio station that Britney sucked him off, the Cry Me A River video, the constant bitching about her cheating and so forth. Maybe, he's not such a prick after all. I just hope this isn't Chris and Rihanna in a few years time. They are the EXACT same age Justin and Brit were when they first started dating.

POLOW DA DON RESPONDS TO BEAT-JACKING RUMBLING (& DENIES LEAKING THE NEW BEYONCE TRACKS)....
"If a 10-year-old can save Usher's career, he's a genius like me"....
This is what Polow boastfully says after being rumbled using preset music software to produce his six-figure beats. A YouTube video caused massive uproar this week after a young man was seen calling Polow out on his cheating ways. In the video (which YouTube has currently pulled), the young man plays a bit of Usher's smash hit single Love in This Club. He then demonstrates two presets from Apple's GarageBand program which sound very identical to the track - causing many of us - myself included - to question Polow's credibility as a producer. However, Polow insists that he didn't get the music from Apple and insists that he has yet to view the exposing YouTube video. He says: "There's this keyboard I have that a lot of sounds come in" (I actually mentioned it in my sister post).
Polow also notes that the song contains a live bassline and that Robin Thicke was enlisted to play piano on the record. Polow also boasts that he can charge six figures because he makes companies hundreds of millions of dollars especially as he's "one of the most influential people in music" (yuh riiiight). Not content with previously upsetting black women with his narrow-minded generalizing statements, here's the killer punchline:
"If a ten-year-old can make 'Love in This Club' and save Usher's career and make black women want to f*ck him again, after they was done with him for getting married, then sh*t he's a genius just like me. I also wrote the hook - that's not a preset." [SOURCE]
The so-called producer has been under suspicion for leaking new Beyonce music from her forthcoming album (her demo's for tracks such as Beautiful Nitemare and Kick 'Em Out, which are still available on the Net) but he denies leaking them. You can read the rest by clicking here. That is totally horrible what he said about black women, and he still refuses to quit. And also, last time I checked, Usher's career didn't need saving. His last album Confessions sold over one million copies in its first week and ended up going Diamond stateside. And that was WITHOUT the help of Polow Da Don. So basically, he is insinuating that Usher's career would be NOTHING without him. Yes, he may have risked his friendship with Usher by leaking Love In This Club without permission, but I wonder what Usher would have to say about these deceitful statements. Implying Usher's career needed saving is insultingly - a kick in the teeth. Anyway, my beef with Polow is his moronic statements towards black women. Any pinch of respect I may have had for Polow has completely vanished out of the window. What a complete asshole.

POLOW DA DON WILL END UP LIKE SCOTT STORCH IF HE'S NOT CAREFUL....
Ever wondered where the beat to Usher's no 1 smash hit single 'Love In This Club' comes from? This footage right here proves that you don't need a music degree or advanced composing skills to put a hot beat together. As Polow Da Don has just proven himself to be a fraud, you can now digest the possibility that he's not the talented producer he has everyone believing. He got white boys calling him out on 'stolen' beats. Thus giving white boys the ammunition to become rich by using pre-made loops and putting their own spin on it and being willing to sell it for less than what Timbaland and Polow would charge. Maybe then this would put Tim and Polow's fraudulent asses out of business in the process (and we all know Tim is guilty of this as well). Check it out:
So you want to know what Polow did? He went and purchased himself a Casio keyboard. They contain buttons with pre-made songs. All Polow did was add some bass and additional synth to the song and then ended up charging half a million dollars for it. The 'Love In This Club' song is made from a pre-made beat off Garageband. Although this has made Polow look bad and other producers look bad, one must ask whether they deserve that title especially since most of them can't even read music. Usher may have egg on his face but Polow is the one laughing all the way to the bank. It seems anyone can become the next Souljah Boy if they really put their mind to it. So much for education....
