Last night, Rihanna performed at the MTV Mobile Bang Concert held in Milan, Italy:
Rihanna was spotted shopping around in Milan. She shopped with fashion designer twins Dean & Dan Caten of Dsquared2 in Milan, Italy on Tuesday morning. 
Last September, the 20-year-old Barbadian beauty strutted the catwalk for DSquared2 during Milan Fashion Week.
She was seen on yet another shopping spree in Milan:
She also turned down the opportunity to pose for Playboy: "My mother would kill me if I posed nude. When I did that metallic body paint stuff for my (Umbrella) video, I didn't do it to show my body. I didn't do it for people to like me. I did it because it was a cool visual, unexpected, and it looked hot."
She added: "I have done a lot of photo shoots for magazines but it’s always great to be shot for a cover because you know that you are looked at as a fashion icon."
And check this; we are only half way through 2008 and already, Rihanna is 2008's Cover Girl of the year. The singer has amassed a collection of over 30 magazine covers including August's issue of In Style Magazine. Read more on that.

Earlier today, Alicia Keys (and Jennifer Hudson) attended and hosted 'Keep A Child Alive: The Black Ball UK' earlier today in London:
The ceremony was held at St. John’s Church at Smith Square. Alicia looked nice but Jen on the other hand looked like .... Jennifer Hudson. The Keep A Child Alive organization is a contribution towards saving lives with the help from the world to donate what they can for AIDS medication, support services, and orphan care.
Cassie attended DJ Cassidy's 27th birthday bash at Cipriani 23rd Street last night, where she ALLEGEDLY confirmed she and Diddy WERE in fact steaming those bedroom sheets behind closed doors:
This may come as no surprise to MANY of us. Since Cassie hit the scene 2 years ago, it's been rumoured from then that the two were having sexual liaisons. The rumours started when Diddy would CONSTANTLY defend Cass at every opportunity especially when she received Internet criticism about her lack of singing/performing talent. But many eyebrows were raised when he tried to justify her embarrassing 106 performance of hit single 'Me & U'. Now Cassie reportedly told Usmagazine.com that she's split from Diddy, yet the two were seen "slipping out" together after the party had ended. Hmmmm.... On the music front, Cassie has shot the video for her single 'Official Girl', which should premiere really soon and this will be followed by her sophomore album expected to be released in September/October.
Teairra Mari may have no buzz surrounding her new project but this chick still manages to stay relevant by hitting up every party in town. Yesterday, she was seen at Hale Bob's Summer Of Love Party at the Falcon in Hollywood, California:

The event, which benefits Children’s Rights and Keep a Child Alive began with an Alicia Keys concert at Tao and concludes with a golf outing at Century Country Club in Purchase later today. I am loving Letoya's floral dress.

Alicia has also revealed that she plans to retire her music career at 30 because she wants to spend the rest of her life travelling the world: The star often finds herself exasperated by the pressures of fame and in 2006 she took a break from music and travelled to Egypt to recuperate. And the Fallin' hitmaker insists that she hopes to be able to bow out of the entertainment industry in the next few years, so she can start enjoying her time. She says, "I am working hard now so I have the choice to retire when I want. I would like to travel the world and stay in places instead of having to move on like I do now. I want to experience difference cultures".

Mashonda looks stressed. I mean with the breakdown of her marriage to R&B producer Swizz Beatz, that's understandable. Rumour mill has it that her man was messing with Alicia Keys which is what caused the break-up. Mashonda has recently spoken about what she thinks of Alicia: "[Alicia Keys] is her own woman and she has made her own choices. I don't have a problem with her. I will say this though, I am not a scorned woman. I have a responsibility to raise [my son], he's my number one priority and everyday I strive more for him and of course my music". Damn. Did she really just call out Ms Keys? The squeaky-clean Ms Keys? Consider that image damaged goods here on out.

CELEB SPOTTINGS: R&B SINGERS OUT & ABOUT ....
GOTDAMN MAAM! Yesterday in London, Amy Winehouse was spotted buying snacks from a petrol station. Apparently, she unveiled a brand new yeasty coloured hairdo. At least the bird-nest beehive has gone. Anythings gotta be a step-up from that right? WRONG! Amy was never an oil painting to begin with and looks aside, her album Back To Black was one of the most innovative soulful albums to date (I love music of live instrumentation). HOWEVER, she really does need to listen to her own words and do just that - go back to black. Besides, it's not like we're shagging the CD cover so to HELL with what she looks like these days. It's about enjoyment of music well composed, arranged and put together with meaningful lyrics that touch you within. But this right here is a disturbing sight:
Hot album and all, it's a shame Amy may miss out on making an appearance at the Grammy's next month all because she's a drug-filled wreck who cannot get her shit together. I guess Amy decided to put the trauma of hubby Blake's spending the rest of his days in prison strictly to the back of her mind and decided to test the waters instead - that blondes do actually have more fun. Do they REALLY? Because when it drastically ages you and makes you look like the cast from Grumpy Old Women slurping on concentrated lemon and beetroot juice, I think now's the time to say no, no, no.
Last night, Beyonce was looking natural and refreshed as she was spotted out in Midtown Manhattan with her beau Jay-Z:
Even without a shred of make-up, Beyonce looks great, much better than the clown make-up she likes to wear. She really needs to hire Rihanna's make-up artist when it's time to get all glammed up. The real secret to looking fab is that less is more. Not sure if anyone over here would be able to pull off wearing pedal pushers in the winter though. I know her legs must be cold somehow.
Yesterday, Kelis and HERO'S actress Dania Ramirez arrived at the "First Sunday" premiere at The Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles, California:
I've always admired Kelis for being different and unique in style. In fact, her fashion eccentricities is what set her apart from all the rest. But those high-waisted pants are hideous. And so is the mushroom hairstyle, but at least its hers and not a wig.

Since winning the show, Alesha has been on a roll lately and making headlines. She joined Capital Radio Breakfast DJ to launch 10K run in aid of Help A London Child charity at Leicester Square, London. Her album Fired Up was shelved in the UK because her singles did poorly on the charts and as a result she got dropped. However, reports suggest that the album will be released in Japan on 20th February.
