Last night, Nick Cannon was hard at work playing DJ at an Operation Smile fund-raising event in New York City. Mariah Carey wasn't too far away as she attended the event to give her Deejaying hubby some support. Check out the two getting all cuddly after his gig came to an end:
Mariah looked great wearing five-inch heels and a fitted Ralph Lauren dress. Mariah was also at the event because she is an ambassador for Operation Smile, which provides surgery to children with cleft palates and other facial deformities. Once Nick had completed his deejaying duties he joined his wife in the VIP room where they immediately put their arms around each other and began whispering. Before long, the two slipped outside into a waiting SUV.

On Tuesday, May 13th, newlyweds Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon had lots of fun at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California where they had a wedding reception for their close family and friends:
Very corny, phoney and calculated in deed. So where do I start? In the second and third pics, Mariah is seen hugging Nick Cannon's mother and Grandfather. The love-struck actor had the whole park shut down after paying a mid-six figure sum so that he and Mariah could party with 100 friends and family. He also decorated the park in Mariah's latest theme colours by using pink and purple balloons along with her trademark butterflies. They also had a banner which read: 'Mariah and Nick: A Love Story'. Mimi's latest new album was playing throughout and each guest received a pink or red Superman cape as a gift (huh?). The loved-up couple were extremely playful as they kissed, cuddled and giggled like naughty teenagers on the rampage. They were seen enjoying the rides and heading back to their reception to greet guests.

I've never seen anything so staged in my whole entire life. Talk about overkill. A love story involves keeping most of those moments sacred without the watchful eye of the public and the media. There are just some stuff you keep to yourself. It's funny seeing Mariah get on that British journalist a couple of months ago for asking about her love life, and declaring her rights to preserve a personal relationship since her whole life has become a public spectacle. And look at her now, pimping out her marriage to Entertainment Tonight and anyone who'll show an ounce of interest. How quickly things change.
Yesterday, Beyonce and Jay-Z were were at Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference semi-final basketball playoff series between the Celtics and the Cavaliers:
Beyonce was also seen out in Manhattan. The chick surprisingly looked nice and trendy in her Khaki pants along with a grey woolly beanie and Chanel jacket. What a massive improvement from the disastrous outfit in yesterday's posting. However, I am seeing a pouch in Beyonce's stomach area. Either she's preggers or she decided to gauge on Popeyes chicken WITHOUT working out or, she's stopped working out completely. The mystery continues.

So after newlywed Mariah Carey appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show, the besotted singer was spotted with hubby Nick Cannon leaving Gyu-Kaku restaurant last night in Beverly Hills:
Nick lovingly shielded his wife with his two-piece suit jacket. Ahh, the love. You can't fake love. When Nick dated Christina Milian, Kim Kardashian, and Selita Ebanks, I don't recall him getting all overly protective in public. The love is definitely for real and Nick clearly dotes on his wife. The singer, who looked absolutely fabulous in a sexy plunging red dress was also spotted at Fred Seagal store on the same night with Nick and her bodyguard in tow. I just bought my issue of OK! today where Nick and Mariah are featured on the front cover. I have yet to read the feature, but will do so shortly. More after the cut.

I just hope Nick doesn't break her heart. We wouldn't want her to have another infamous breakdown as was the case back in 2001 when her Latin lover Luis Miguel broke up with her. Also, Love Story is confirmed as the third single and yes, Nick Cannon features in the video for that as well (reportedly, he directed her latest video Bye Bye). I hate that they're milking this marriage for all it's worth just to get bonus record sales. There are sooo many hot tracks on her album that are much more single-worthy. I guess Mariah really wants to tell the world all about her Love Story. Quite frankly, I think we've seen and heard enough.

The couple were seen making their journey to a recording studio in the Meatpacking District. It's already been confirmed by MTV that Rihanna has started recording her 4th studio album, and rumour has it that Chris has also started recording new material for another studio album. We will definitely hear a duet from them in the foreseeable future. Also, I just realised how bad Chris's skin really is. It's rougher than sandpaper. Either that or it's rug burn from putting his face somewhere, lol. Anyway, he really needs to get it cleared.

Fresh from clubbing together in DC over the weekend, LOVEBIRDS Rihanna and Chris Brown were spotted yesterday afternoon checking out of their midtown hotel in New York City. Rihanna, who looked super trendy in a yellow leather jacket was the first one to depart the hotel, whilst her boyfriend followed afterwards doing everything they could not to be pictured together (a bit too late to start playing coy now). Chris, looked dangerously sexy, as he ditched his clean cut 'young boy' look for the more rugged look. The pretty 23-year-old also survived a terrifying earthquake in Japan where she was promoting her album Spirit last week. As well as that, in a recent blog entry, Leona says the tremors began when she was performing on stage. Luckily for the singer, she came out of it unscathed. MARIAH & NICK PURCHASED WEDDING LICENCE IN THE BAHAMAS?
According to PEOPLE, the "newlyweds" Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon went and obtained a marriage license on the Caribbean island of Eleuthera.
So let's round this up. No Prenup. A 17 carats engagement ring. A 2 month romance. Da Brat being the only named guest at the wedding, and .... well, I can go on and on about the ridiculousness and all the holes that plaque this whole story. I expect to wake up tomorrow morning with the news that this whole thing was one big joke.

According to PEOPLE, Beyoncé has returned to the studio this week to record her new forthcoming album. Bey is currently working in New York City with production duo Chris "Tricky" Stewart and Kuk Harrell.
Here's what Tricky had to say about going into the studio with Beyonce this week: "She's a professional. She loves what she does and works her [butt] off. Right now she's basically doing three to four songs a day and that's unheard of." [READ MORE] Tricky has worked with Rihanna on 'Umbrella' and Mariah Carey on 'Touch My Body' so you just know he'll be giving Beyonce his best work. This is going to be some hot Ish right there, and I so can't wait. Although Tricky is a newlywed himself, he says he and Beyonce haven't spoken to each other about their recent marital encounters *SMH* Not surprising at all. Tricky also admits that Beyonce's rapper husband Jay-Z has yet to visit the studio but he hasn't ruled it out. Say whut? A Beyonce record with no Jay-Z collaboration?
