So some of you bitches always moan about Riri or Bey always getting the main feature of a post so today I changed all that. If Rih or Bey is in a post, they usually get top priority but not today. Hope ya'll happy, lol! Though, it's no big deal. Usually, the bigger the artist (due to popular demand), the higher chances that they'll get the main feature. It's always been that way. Anyway, this morning, Usher was in London yesterday to promote his latest single Love In This Club and album Here I Stand. May 27th is slowly starting to creep up on us.
The singer visited BBC's Radio One studio's where he did an interview about what's to be expected from his latest project. I can't wait to hear the new music. Usher always brings it musically, although the buzz is nowhere near as huge as YEAH. I guess Confessions is what Thriller was to Michael Jackson's career. The type of success you only get to smell once in a lifetime....

A host of top R&B diva's took out their specially designed frocks to attend last night's Met Gala which went down in New York City. The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala 'Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy' opened with a celebrity spree, and Beyonce attended looking not-so-pregnant:
How many times is Beyonce going to recycle the same ole dress? She must have one in every single colour now. Her peach figure-hugging Armani Prive gown was pretty dull to say this is her first appearance at a high profile celebrity event since her marriage to Jay-Z. She did look a lil curvier than usual but I'm putting it down to all that Popeyes chicken she ate at her pre-wedding dinner party recently. Armani was the chairman of the event, whereas Anna Wintour hosted with Julia Roberts and George Clooney. Kelly Rowland has been doing the business in London for the past week or so. As well as promoting new single Daylight and new album Ms Kelly: Diva Deluxe, she also officially launched St Aubyn's Holistic Centre in the oh-so-beautiful city yesterday:
Kelly has such a cute shape, and I've been feeling her whole attire recently. Chick has been on her A-game lately. I still think she needs to change that hair and she'd be straight.
On Friday (May 2nd), Fergie performed at day three of Sunfest in West Palm Beach, Florida:
Rocking a sporty white outfit with black stripes, she entertained the audience with hits such as London Bridge, Clumsy, and Big Girls Don't Cry. The 33-year-old is also launching her own line of bags - Fergie for Kipling. Sounds weird but here's what she had to say about it: "The designs are about my high school years," the Grammy winning singer told OK!. "There's tie-dye, there's Jerry Garcia, it's groovy. That's when I was able to just go down to Venice Beach - go with a really big bag with all my stuff in it and just walk around and just people watch." On top of that, Fergie continues to work on her music, including a theme song for Sex and the City movie, and is preparing for her wedding to fiancé Josh Duhamel, whom she has been dating since September 2004.

Last night in Atlanta, Ciara co-hosted the Ludacris Foundation, an event that was done in honour to raise money for youth and HIV/AIDS research. The event was also attended by singer Fergie and producers Polow Da Don, Bryan Michael Cox (not pictured) and Dallas Austin:
Nice one, to both Ciara and Luda. When you become famous, it's good to see celebs using their star power to make a difference instead of spewing crap and starting beefs. Fiddy should take an example from his rival and alleged former lover.
These group certainly are a tightknit bunch as they were all spotted at the 11th Annual BMI Atlanta Unsigned Urban Showcase in Atlanta, GA on that very same day:

Who goes back to work the next day after getting hitched? I see why Bey and Jay are attracted to each other - those are some hardworking motherfuckers. Then again, this is the reason why they're so damn powerful and successful. Can't hate on that at all. And I take it, we won't EVER get to see those wedding pics because they REFUSE to talk about it. Not even with their closest pals. Shame.

Yesterday, Alicia Keys appeared on BET’s 106 & Park where she cohosted the entire show with Rosci and Terrence. On the show, she premiered her brand new video Teenage Love Affair.
I was definitely feeling Alicia's whole get-up. Cute. The singer has been forced to cancel several shows due to vocal problems. She is currently being treated by a physician, and is expected to return to the stage on Saturday, April 26th at the Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center in Columbus.

Leona Lewis was spotted departing JFK airport yesterday. She's been working her butt off all week and it's looks like it's about to pay off. According to first-day predictions, Leona's latest album Spirit, which was released in the US on Tuesday is set to debut at #1 on next week's HITS Album Sales chart, edging near 200k.
So not only has Bleeding Love got to no 1 on Billboard but she'll have a double victory with Spirit as well. I am really pleased for her. Those are fantastic sales for a newcomer artist. I'm sure Simon Cowell and Clive Davis will be sipping champagne once everything has been made official. Good for her. She deserves all of her success on both sides of the Atlantic. I guess she'll be getting a top of the range merc now, at Mr Cowell's expense.

Rihanna looked absolutely wonderful. That is one bad heffa, waxy ears and all. Bitch is untouchable, OK?!?!? Anyway, they can front all they like. Jordin Sparks has just went and told their business even though they don't want to confirm their relationship. Last night, Rihanna performed a concert held at the Highline Ballroom. The concert helped fund the BELIEVE Foundation, which Rihanna created in 2006 to "ensure the health and well-being of our future leaders." BELIEVE is also "committed to creating change in the lives of our youth by providing, educational, financial, social and medical support when and wherever it is needed." He was called in aid of Britney’s recovery from mental illness issues. And he agreed to talk to the Toxic singer face to face. The couple dated for nearly four years and split in 2002. From then, things got nasty - Justin publicly telling a radio station that Britney sucked him off, the Cry Me A River video, the constant bitching about her cheating and so forth. Maybe, he's not such a prick after all. I just hope this isn't Chris and Rihanna in a few years time. They are the EXACT same age Justin and Brit were when they first started dating.

After a run of poor vocal performances over the last few weeks, Mariah absolutely nailed it. I guess she saw this as the big opportunity not to mess up and took it there wholeheartedly, and she was totally feeling it too. The voice is definitely back. Go Mimi! On American Idol next week, she'll also perform her second single, the Stargate-produced ballad Bye Bye. Only one more week to go before her new album drops.
