Yesterday, Rihanna and Chris Brown continued on with their lovers parade as they were spotted holding hands whilst filming a music video in Hollywood:
I'm kind of confused. A music video? For what? Unless she was shooting her part for T.I's new single or her part for the latest charity single 'Just Stand Up' with Chris there for support (he was also on the set of her vid 'If I Never See Your Face Again'). UPDATE: A TW READER INFORMS ME THAT CHRIS IS SHOOTING A NEW MUSICVIDEO OFF HIS RE-RELEASE 'FOREVER' AND RIHANNA PLAYS HIS LEADING LADY. Anyway, as for the black and white striped bubble dress, she could easily hide a hundred and one dalmations in there. Not really flattering. I cant say I was feeling the get-up. And her hair was looking rather lapse than usual. At this year's VMAs, Rihanna is rumoured to join T.I. for the first-ever performance of their collaboration 'Live Your Life,' the new single off T.I.'s new album 'Paper Trail'. As well as the collaboration, the 20-year-old is set to perform her latest smash 'Disturbia' for the very first time as well.
Over the weekend, Mya held her foundations fun day finale at the Howard Academy and Public Charter school in North East DC for the Mya Arts Foundation:
Mya was showing her love to the kiddies. The children demonstrated their dance and technical skills they learned in their 6 weeks at summer camp. Mya's music career may have fallen on deaf ears but she's been shooting some scenes for a brand new movie called 'Bottleworld'.

The wackness which is BET's '106 & Park' celebrated their 2000th episode on Tuesday in NYC. Keyshia Cole was spotted at the special taping which saw an array of artists show up for the celebration. Jennifer Hudson also performed latest single 'Spotlight':
It's puzzling why Jen stays promoting a song that's not currently recieving any momentum. I smell a November pushback. They should try and put out another single whilst they have the time. Spotlight is a nice song but I instantly knew it didn't have the right essence for radio to be all over it.
Danity Kane were spotted at the MTV studio's after a taping at TRL:
Dawn was spotted rocking the same Herve Leger dress Rihanna rocked a couple of weeks ago. Her and D. Woods were spotted leaving the studio in different outfits. D. Woods was dressed up like a Granny with the crinkled black dress and weird yellow trainers combo. No maam. Not feeling that get-up at all.
Dawn also attended the 'Making the Band 4' premiere party at Guest House on Tuesday in New York City. The new season started this week. Others that attended included a couple of members of Day 26 and Teyana 'a sight for sore eyes' Taylor:
What is going on with Teyana's album? Not that I care much, but it's been eons since she put out 'Google Me', and a second single isn't out. She is starting to become a drifter. So much for being the new Kelis.

Nicole Scherzinger and the other Pussycat Dolls took a break from promoting their forthcoming album 'Doll Domination' by soaking up the sunny beaches of Ibiza, Spain:
Nicole's boyfriend Lewis was nowhere in sight. Presumably, he was somewhere about in London playing the field. In other dollness, the girls album has been pushed back by a week and will now be released on September 23rd.

Jen is naturally curvacious. I never understand a celeb's fascination to get back to the way they were after having kids. I know they're put under further pressure due to being in the spotlight but sometimes, it's just not going to happen, especially if you're not Heidi Klum. If you've always had hips and thighs, a baby only expands those hips making it harder. I'm not saying they should let themselves go but if they ate to the correct health standards during pregnancy, they wouldn't need to try so hard afterwards. Personally, I think J.Lo looks fantastic after birthing twins earlier this year. As long as this fetish to look ultra slim doesn't become an obsession, it's all good.

It appears someone doesn't have very sharp photoshop skills as the picture is all sorts of wrong. And Dawn was never much of a looker but they got her looking like a deer in headlights. The poses look contrived as hell. Weird picture for the most part.

Last night, the 2008 Teen Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles, CA. Never one to miss a kiddie event, Chris Brown showed up:

On Friday, Leona Lewis attended a press conference for the MTV Asia Awards 2008 at the Resort World Convention Hall in Genting Highlands on August 1, 2008 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia:
Leona performed 'Bleeding Love' & 'Better In Time' at the ceremony, and won a gong for Breakthrough Artist. As for Leona's next album which will be released next year, reportedly, new producer on the block Taio Cruz is set to produce some tracks for the forthcoming project. He was hired by Simon Cowell. Taio is also writing for Britney Spears new album as well as Justin Timberlake.
The Pussycat Dolls also attended and were seen on the red carpet and press conference:
They won a gong and performed 'Buttons' and 'When I Grow Up'. Performances will be posted shortly.
Last night, Jennifer Hudson performed at Soul Sessions in Atlanta:
Reportedly, Jen performed 2 songs from her new album and one of which was gospel. Jen's boyfriend David "Punk" Otunga was also spotted backstage at her show. Wow. They REALLY are dating. One thing I don't get is that Jen knows she's heavy chested and still often likes to wrap misplaced belts tightly below them. Not a good look at all.
Mariah Carey performed at the Samsung AT&T 'Summer Krush' series in Hollywood, California this week - on Jimmy Kimmel Live:
She did okay for MC, but her comeback was pretty lukewarm.

Kelly must have been really busy. I am sure she'd have taken a first-class flight to her beloved London once given the chance. Two trailers for forthcoming reality shows can be watched inside this post. The first one is for Monica's reality show 'The Single', which sees Monica in the studio recording the new material:
Um yeah, so this has been like a Monica haven as of late but at least ya'll can't complain about Rihanna dominating the blog now that a more talented singer is getting some shine. Some people can't be pleased no matter what. That said, although I love Monica I haven't been feeling her since 'The Boy Is Mine' (classic album I must add). Monica's show is set to premiere on Peachtree TV on August 5th. Look out for it.

DANITY KANE: BAD GIRL FEAT MISSY [VIDEO PREMIERE].....
Danity Kane's last video 'Damaged' last debuted when Jesus was old enough to walk. And last night, their second video for latest single 'Bad Girl' premiered on new pop show FN'MTVD:
The video was directed by Erik White and is clearly on high budget which is good but Diddy left it too little too late to start pulling out the stops, as was the case with their debut album. A shame since their latest album 'Welcome To The Dollhouse' was a great album and has done a disappearing act chart-wise. The vid features cameo's from Dawn's boyfriend Q (Day 26) who plays a seductive doctor and Missy who has a couple of verses on the track. It seems the couple have some type of bond to appear in each other's group video's at every given opportunity. I was particularly enjoying the comic-book "Sin City/Batman" effects that were used, though I'll have to say that D. Woods is as "luscious" as a plate of dried up prunes. Anyway, this without a doubt is definitely one of their best video's to date.

Judging by the video, it sounds like it's going to be mad racy - torture, handcuffs, hmmmm (I'm sure this came as second nature to Aubrey) but this video should have been out a while ago. I guess Diddy is stepping up - slightly. At least they didn't have to wait an ice age like last time. But their album is no longer visible on the chart. And what is going on with poor Donnie? There hasn't been any word whatsoever on his new album after his two singles have flopped. Not that I care much because he sucks, but I do feel kind of bad for him.

It's almost become standard procedure. The good news is I'm hearing their video Bad Girl is near completion so fingers crossed that we'll be seeing it soon.

Mel B is also on course to become the new X Factor judge. She is currently in negotiation and has beat off stiff competition from two other British singers - Charlotte Church and Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole. It was officially announced this week that Sharon Osbourne has quit The X Factor. Sharon will not be returning to the show that launched Leona Lewis into the International superstar that she is today. Sharon absolutely hates the new judge Danni Minogue because she sees Danni as a threat and believes Danni only got the job because of her looks and not because of her contribution towards the music industry. It's also believed that Sharon's departure could all be down to the two judges not getting along as well.
