Forgive me if this appears like another Rihanna post. Well, the blog has been seeing a lot of Rihanna today but I can't help that. And she's been seen quite a lot lately. But the chick is just relevant right now and going places, so um, brace yourselves. Earlier today, Rihanna put in an Instore Appearance at H&M in New York City, January 31:
REMEMBER THIS? The pretty 'Umbrella' singer looked colourful when she popped into the 51st Street H&M to launch the HIV-driven 'Fashion Against AIDS' campaign. A host of famous musicians and designers have created a range of funky organic cotton T-shirts and jackets for H&M to raise awareness of Aids among young adults and Rihanna was one of those young musicians. The collection will be in stores from February.

She was looking like a real rocker biker chick. Image wise, Rihanna enjoys taking it up a notch, but you can't deny that she looks fantastic.
And last night, she was also spotted arriving at her hotel in New York City:
This chick is everywhere, damn! She is like a human globe *lol* It was only the other day she was in France. Next week, she'll be in LA for The Grammy Awards. Then a week after the Grammy's, she'll be jetting over to the UK for the Brit Awards, and then after the Brit Awards she'll consume the rest of her UK tour or at least the dates that she missed last December. How does she do it? Her man Chris Brown certainly has his work cut out but then, they're two of a kind.

If you still didn't catch her US video for Bleeding Love, CLICK HERE. Being that she's from the UK, I would really love to see her do well but she has no personality. No appeal. Nothing. Americans will just see her as a diva-less knock-off Mariah Carey with similar racial background and vocal abilities but nothing about her stands out. There are soooo many singers that pretty much fits her category. Physically, she has Beyonce's attributes and vocally, she has Mariah's vocal chords but nothing else distinguishes her from those types of artists.

Someone needs to tell her that bobble jackets are suppose to be simple, not all jazzed up. Her boots are another story for another day *lol* Not really feeling her look save for the glasses. Ms Blige was spotted outside the BBC studio's. Mary has been in the UK to promote her new album 'Growing Pains' which has yet to drop over here. That sucks. We're always the last to get shit. Growing Pains will not be released until Feb 4th in the UK. As part of her promotion she did a string of live performances and appeared on a couple of UK TV shows. On BBC 1xtra's (radio) morning show she performed JUST FINE and FAMILY AFFAIR so be sure to check those out.

NICOLE SCHERZINGER ALBUM GETS PUSHED BACK ..... AGAIN!
After being pushed back for the zillionth time, Nicole Scherzinger's debut solo album "Her Name Is Nicole" has been pushed back AGAIN - to June 23rd!
I don't even know why they're wasting time on this album. So far a lot of what we've heard from it sucks, and Nicole has already shown us that she lacks the star quality we all thought she had when she was with the Pussycat Dolls. Evidently, she can't survive without them. Her solo career is deader than a graveyard. People have lost their jobs over her album and they're still trying to push it. Folks are possibly struggling to eat and pay their rent/mortgage because of her shitty ass. If I were those people I'd be pissed as hell.
ALICIA KEYS WILL PERFORM AT THE GRAMMY'S! WRECKLESS LOVE TO BE 3RD SINGLE....
Alicia Keys has now been added as a performer at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards telecast. This news was announced yesterday by The Recording Academy.
Yes! I can't wait for this one. There is no announcement as to what she'll perform but whatever it is, I soooo look forwards to it. I hope she performs Wreckless Love which is reportedly the third single off her already 3x platinum album, As I Am. I am ecstatic about this choice. Wreckless Love is one of my favourite songs off her new album. Just awesome. The Grammys air on a Sunday (February 10th) at 8 p.m. on CBS.
RIHANNA IS RECORDING HER FOURTH STUDIO ALBUM!
MTV have reported that Rihanna has started recording the follow-up to her hugely successful Good Girl Gone Bad album.
Rihanna will reportedly join Kanye West on his Glow In The Dark tour. I actually read somewhere that she would release the new album sometime in November but I didn't really believe it. But since MTV are confirming she is working on it, I guess it's possible. So is the world ready for another Rihanna album?

Rihanna and her milk mustache has joined the latest 'Got Milk' ad campaign. She is pictured in a short dress on a sofa next to her slogan.
It reads:
"Drink it in. Pop star? Not exactly. Milk is more my move. Some studies suggest that teens who choose milk instead of sugary drinks tend to be leaner and the protein helps build muscle. Danity Kane performed their official lead single 'Damaged' for the first time at Spotlight on Bad Boy RnB Night on Tuesday (Jan 29 2008):
I have not been impressed with Danity Kane this time round. The music has been mediocre at best. It's as if the thirst has gone because they feel they've already proven themselves. The new single Damaged is the first single taken from their upcoming new album 'Welcome to the Dollhouse', due March 18th on Bad Boy records.
Miaow! Danity Kane have also taken out their claws to rip into Keyshia Cole. This is really funny to me because I had no idea that DK were beefing with Keyshia. According to DK, Keyshia was really rude to them. They complimented her and Keyshia kicked the door closed at TRL so they've taken a disliking to her. Check out their interview with Ms Jones below:

Loved the video. It was very energetic. The video set was looking a lot like Janet and Michael Jackson's Scream video. I'm not sure if that was intentional. We are talking about Chris Brown after all, the singer who patterns his whole career after his fallen idol. Lil mama could dance her ass off. I enjoyed their choreography at the end where they were dancing together. Pure hotness. Chris Brown and Ciara really need to do a dance video together. Now THAT would be timeless.

BRANDY: IT DOESN'T MATTER [NEWLY LEAKED TRACK]....
Over the months, a barrage of 'newly' leaked Brandy tracks have made their rounds on the Internet. A lot of blogs are actually confirming a lot of this leaked music as 'new' material from her upcoming album, when that couldn't be furtherest from the truth. It's only because we are JUST hearing these tracks when the reality is, they were recorded years ago.
Brandy: It Doesn't Matter
All of this 'new' music you've been hearing are actually outtake tracks from previously recorded albums such as Full Moon, for instance. As much as I am dying to hear new music from Brandy, it is far too early for her new material to leak when there hasn't been any announcements pertaining to the new album.This track is called It Doesn't Matter, and it was put together by her ex Robert Smith as a demo. I totally love the track. Old-skool Brandy at its finest.

Universal have released a brand new photoshoot as part of Janet's promo for new album 'Discipline' (Feb 26th), and I have to say Ms Janet is absolutely smokin'!:
This is how you do it Janet! When you have a natural beauty and a million dollar smile to make hearts melt, you don't gotta flaunt the tata's. I applaud Janet whole heartedly for going the classy route with this album, although we know the album content will be another story. But still, you don't have to be half naked to prove yourself in the record industry, especially if you're Janet Jackson. Loves it!
LEONA LEWIS: BLEEDING LOVE [US VIDEO PREMIERE]....
Leona Lewis is set to embark on a huge US promotional campaign to launch her career in the US. And to begin with, she shot a US version for smash hit single 'Bleeding Love' which premiered on Yahoo not too long ago. The video was shot by acclaimed video director Jessy Terrero:
She looked great in the video. But her UK video was a lot better because it had lots of different concepts. This one, however, was one-dimensional and quite predictable. Her real-life boyfriend Lou Al-Chama plays her love interest. Leona will be on TRL today to premiere the new video and it is believed that she'll perform the song on American Idol in coming weeks. For her album Spirit, she has recorded two brand new tracks for the U.S. release - 'Forgive Me' by singer/songwriter Akon and 'Misses Glass' from the cutting edge producer/writers Madd Scientist and Rock City. The U.K. singer and songwriter will release her debut album, Spirit, on J Records/SyCo Music on April 8, 2008.

Kelly Rowland as ya'll know is in the UK promoting her latest projects. She sat down with BBC 1Xtra's Ace & Vis in the studio on Friday for a chat about her newly re-packaged, Ms Kelly album and her love for the UK:

She gave us a bit of scoop on the projects of her former Destiny's Child pals Beyonce and Michelle Williams (6 minute mark). It has already been confirmed that Michelle's new single will be Stop This Car. The song, which is produced by Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins leaked on the Net last October and because of the great reception that it received, she decided to release it as the lead single from her upcoming R&B album. We also know that Beyonce has been in the studio recording her new album, so that's basically what she stated - that Beyonce is back home in the states - busy - recording her new album. I am dyyyyying at the end of the interview. In the UK, amongst the black community, we have like these street phrases. And they were testing her out - that if she manages to get most of them right she's a UK-er. They asked her what 'likkle more' means. She said it sounded like they were asking her to "lick me more". LMAOOOOOOO! Ace goes "That can be arranged". Hilarious! Check it out.

On January 26, Ashanti did a gig and hosted a MySpace Monthly Party at PURE Nightclub. She wowed crowds in Las Vegas where she performed brand new album tracks from her upcoming album The Declaration:
Ashanti's beauty is undeniable. She was looking fantastic. I was even feeling her whole get-up from head to toe. Ashanti's new album The Declaration will be released June 3rd. Her new single The Way That I Love You is receiving serious spins on my Zen as well.

Last night, Kelly Rowland performed her latest single Work at G.A.Y club in London:
Hmmmm, so when you're not seeing the sales that you want it's time to display BUTT CHEEKS! The facial expression on the man watching her (right) says it all, as if he had seen something from out of a horror movie. I see they still haven't given up on the album when technically had it been anyone else, further singles would not have been promoted. She looks ridiculous in that peacock outfit though. Definitely one for the birds. The re-release of her newly packaged album "Ms. Kelly" will drop on March 10th.
